A lovingly renovated Norwegian home dating back to the 1800's.

Morning! It's beautifully sunny here today and the sea is iced over as far as the eye can see BRRRRR! So cosiness (and charm) is the order of the day and this home has oodles of it! It's the renovated home of blogger Monica Bromseth of<span style="background-color: white;"> </span><a href="http://karlotteshjem.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><span style="background-color: white; color: #741b47;">Karlottes Hjem</span></a> and her family in Norway. Built in the 1800's the house has so much history, once the home of the community's first midwife,  it has also been the village post office and a general store! If walls could tell stories, this home could write a library!<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHFPGNJ6Eb8SkIDmiBM1rtjaHnws_jANmZiuQEcRx23tQ7oLktaGa0OLBXKfaWvM1twGlkkgYKTcM8YVnLgJ7lbiKVtL8Qxt8bGyddEoX19yZ8F5_LPzEvCOwNO9p9AmyJCOkD1ph_VYEK/s1600/IMG_3323.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; Adding a little industrial chic with Tolix chairs

I hope you're having a flying start to the weekend. White rustic /shabby chic home with modern surprises

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hej and happy Friday! Today I love this home. Of course cos it's white, <em>yes</em>. (Tell me honestly, do I publish too many white homes?! I think maybe I do..:). But also because it's full of surprises. At a distance it looks like a classic white rustic /shabby chic space but look closer and there are lots of gems. From vintage industrial <a href="http://www.tolix.fr/en/products/1-seats/p/2-a-chair" target="_blank">Tolix</a> stools, to deco chairs and modern bulb lighting. And that wonderful huge white gilded chair. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiStV-XBNuTr2TUGoTpAicqrLHcNiO8hm8Vqr3ndk7poNm3lwwAyK8ltDvdwqgizWFYzCjtp_8Fx918Ms-cFtkVxyGm9BFwzQihAvlHFd3jpyUt0gdquP0uSZohYpzNkRbJsCrepFT4W8bC/s1600/white2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="404px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiStV-XBNuTr2TUGoTpAicqrLHcNiO8hm8Vqr3ndk7poNm3lwwAyK8ltDvdwqgizWFYzCjtp_8Fx918Ms-cFtkVxyGm9BFwzQihAvlHFd3jpyUt0gdquP0uSZohYpzNkRbJsCrepFT4W8bC/s640/white2.jpg" width="640px" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrtSDP9ttgLmp-AyuALiLW0ymAE-GIIOCdSqPBLxJgcFHqRQ8ayjLO3xJpv-zE27EaUJCR0koHUDOqyrJOVq2e0SGHVqVJYVAPNytIyB5m8ftZuKE1hPf0uangl1COTNqXf4C5t_Az43r8/s1600/white3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="422px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrtSDP9ttgLmp-AyuALiLW0ymAE-GIIOCdSqPBLxJgcFHqRQ8ayjLO3xJpv-zE27EaUJCR0koHUDOqyrJOVq2e0SGHVqVJYVAPNytIyB5m8ftZuKE1hPf0uangl1COTNqXf4C5t_Az43r8/s640/white3.jpg" width="640px" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB0VZjOqvubF8q0PUHtv6ui8qAiomK8s0aOdNDdsuPsOQs7cSCTHLUhOmADJIWrDZfgtWvFCJn24TIBwEeFB5R7yXkO-6aeWu1if4r_OD4PUE65TkUAWTbESAG-Q5Kx1JIt93fO-yHM0pg/s1600/white4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB0VZjOqvubF8q0PUHtv6ui8qAiomK8s0aOdNDdsuPsOQs7cSCTHLUhOmADJIWrDZfgtWvFCJn24TIBwEeFB5R7yXkO-6aeWu1if4r_OD4PUE65TkUAWTbESAG-Q5Kx1JIt93fO-yHM0pg/s640/white4.jpg" width="530px" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkYUWEsIWgUnlmT25n3XEyyqPR1dmajPfrlbGYUm950yaQRa9XIjdY_VXM4NaZ_rWHRAqSI8zmfv4YSQnx6T1yg3hTSpTVRGtJ5wDzET_g412F3pfox6vpzqglFnF3qq4BvzkQ6vfaLT9A/s1600/white5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkYUWEsIWgUnlmT25n3XEyyqPR1dmajPfrlbGYUm950yaQRa9XIjdY_VXM4NaZ_rWHRAqSI8zmfv4YSQnx6T1yg3hTSpTVRGtJ5wDzET_g412F3pfox6vpzqglFnF3qq4BvzkQ6vfaLT9A/s640/white5.jpg" width="476px" /></a></div><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPSJxQ0cxV0LEEqIcbidlF4NzIP51Fw1D7G_3a3_QxcmutDMDz479hJ7_vOlCquAYuH8XD8Gp3IPqpWi6YabWk-ngBz6s1azPUPiWZvI_v9LjSGowkUbnX2EgelX3_FD7qWUggw7Qxzgyg/s1600/white6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="640px" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPSJxQ0cxV0LEEqIcbidlF4NzIP51Fw1D7G_3a3_QxcmutDMDz479hJ7_vOlCquAYuH8XD8Gp3IPqpWi6YabWk-ngBz6s1azPUPiWZvI_v9LjSGowkUbnX2EgelX3_FD7qWUggw7Qxzgyg/s640/white6.jpg" width="478px" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.chicanddeco.com/2011/12/tandem-perfecto-perfect-tandem.html" target="_blank">Via</a></td></tr></tbody></table><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>Anything you spy with your little eye in this home that you love?
