I just spotted this Swedish apartment currently<a href="http://www.alvhemmakleri.se/hem-till-salu/obj17735_1330488022/bilder" target="_blank"> for sale</a> and thought I must nip in and share it with you. It's very classic Swedish style (in my eyes anyway, would you agree?) with it's white and grey colour theme and lovely designer pieces. House for Mother

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Good morning! I hope you had a lovely weekend (and enjoyed my rare <a href="http://www.myscandinavianhome.blogspot.se/2014/04/a-light-and-relaxed-amsterdam-home-and.html" target="_blank">Sunday home tour</a>). It's so gloomy here in Southern Sweden today but it's OK because I've a beautiful project to share! 'House For Mother' (great name?), is the brainchild of <a href="http://www.f-a-f.se/" target="_blank">Förstberg Arkitektur</a> as their contribution to the <a href="http://wp.linkopingsbo2016.se/" target="_blank">Linköpingsbo 2017</a> housing exhibition. While the outside will be constructed of raw corrugated aluminium, the inside will be designed using exposed timber and walls lined with plywood to add warmth. This is definitely going to be categorised under my '<a href="http://www.myscandinavianhome.blogspot.se/search/label/fabulous%20architecture" target="_blank">fabulous architecture</a>' label! The cool home of a Danish architect

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">It's Friday, the sun's shining and things are hotting up here in Malmö! Hope they are where you are too?! Just over the bridge in Denmark is this oh so cool Danish home belonging to architect <a href="http://holscherdesign.com/" target="_blank">Friederike Faller</a>. Friedericke and his family have decorated the space with muted tones and made maximum use of every square inch (check out the high storage in the hall, kitchen, sitting room and dining room and the desks in the bedroom). I also love the way <a href="http://en.mikkeladsbol.dk/" target="_blank">Mikkel Adsbol</a> has photographed it  - the angles, the light. The beautiful relaxed home of Anne Ziegler

It's so grey here in Southern Sweden I am in desperate need for something to brighten up my day and I think I've found it in the form of this beautiful house. It's the white, light and airy home of <a href="http://anneziegler.com/" target="_blank">Anne Ziegler</a>, a trend, retail and brand consultant for companies such as <a href="http://www.anntaylor.com/" target="_blank">Ann Taylor</a> and <a href="http://www.victoriassecret.com/" target="_blank">Victoria's Secret</a>, in Laurel Canyon, California. I love the wide planked light wood floor, layered textures of white and that fab spotted bed spread (anyone know where it's from?). A former Fisherman's cottage in Copenhagen

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Sometimes I come across a space which jolts me into a new way of thinking for my own house. This family home of Peter Östergaard and Åsa Olofsson and their children just North of Copenhagen is one of those. A former fisherman's cottage, it's been transformed into a beautiful, modern and light filled space with the help of <a href="http://www.normcph.com/" target="_blank">Norm Archtitects</a>. And it also harbours surprises. Take the break-away red <a href="http://www.artemide.com/home/index.action" target="_blank">Artemide</a> lamp on the sitting room wall, the wooden shelf adding warmth to the kitchen and the fun, slightly messy children's room which oozes charm. Sometimes it's so great to realise that the most beautiful interiors are often also the most simple (and small!).  The Barcelona home of architect and graphic designer <a href="http://www.labuhardi.com/" target="_blank">Marina Senabre Roca</a>, is the perfect example of this and such great inspiration for compact living.
