A cool monochrome Swedish home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">P and I had very different ideas of what we were looking for when we bought <a href="http://www.myscandinavianhome.blogspot.se/search?q=my+home+captured" target="_blank">our house</a> but after a broad search we moved 50 metres! My parents did the same when we were small. It just goes to show what you are looking for is often right under your nose! Do you find this to be true? Swedish pair Lina and Andreas Kanstrup were planning a new build when a house came on the market 100 metres away. They were sceptical but the moment they walked in the door they <i>knew</i> it was right and all building plans went out the window. They renovated their new house from scratch learning lessons on the way and relying on gut instinct. Swedish apartment in white and grey

I just spotted this Swedish apartment currently<a href="http://www.alvhemmakleri.se/hem-till-salu/obj17735_1330488022/bilder" target="_blank"> for sale</a> and thought I must nip in and share it with you. It's very classic Swedish style (in my eyes anyway, would you agree?) with it's white and grey colour theme and lovely designer pieces. The oh so cool home of a Swedish photographer

This is the oh so cool home of talented Swedish wedding photographer <a href="http://theresewinberg.com/portfolio/" target="_blank">Therese Winberg</a>. Shot by Therese and styled by Anna Malmgren for <a href="http://www.plazainterior.se/new/" target="_blank">Plaza Interiör</a>, the space appeared on several blogs late last year and I missed it (<i>I know, I think I was to busy enjoying my Christmas glögg</i>!). It's such a fabulous home I thought I'd better share it in case you missed it too?! The space is the perfect blend of old and new and teeming with the latest design trends (hello geometric kitchen floor, scallop fronted dresser, grey marble surfaces..) . The palatial home of a Stockholm stylist

Monday's home: shades of grey

I'm finally back in Sweden and despite the jet lag (although it's actually quite useful to be up at 4.30am!) it's lovely to be home. A very cool Swedish home with a twist.

And have you ever seen a showhome like it?! I'd want to move in directly complete with all the furniture, lighting and accessories!<br /><br />After four fantastic weeks with my family in Thailand we're finally heading home (boo hooo!).
