The cool home of a Danish architect

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">It's Friday, the sun's shining and things are hotting up here in Malmö! Hope they are where you are too?! Just over the bridge in Denmark is this oh so cool Danish home belonging to architect <a href="http://holscherdesign.com/" target="_blank">Friederike Faller</a>. Friedericke and his family have decorated the space with muted tones and made maximum use of every square inch (check out the high storage in the hall, kitchen, sitting room and dining room and the desks in the bedroom). I also love the way <a href="http://en.mikkeladsbol.dk/" target="_blank">Mikkel Adsbol</a> has photographed it  - the angles, the light. A wonderful Copenhagen home

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Happy April Fool's day! Have you fooled anyone yet?! In the UK you've got until midday but in Sweden you've the whole day - and then, once fooled you call your poor, unsuspecting subject a silly herring. What about in your country?! I'm oh so excited about today's home tour photographed by <a href="http://www.tiaborgsmidt.dk/" target="_blank">Tia Borgsmidt</a> for the wonderful Danish magazine <a href="http://www.boligliv.dk/Indretning/indretning/lys-bylejlighed-enkel-stil-med-arvemobler/" target="_blank">BoligLiv</a>. It's the home of Marie and Andreas and their two children Uma and Morris just over the bridge in Vesterbro, Copenhagen. The space is teeming with personal items including art and furniture they've either inherited or sourced from antique and second hand markets. The fab designer pieces such as the <a href="http://www.designcollectors.com/EN/product/1643/thonet-209/" target="_blank">Thonet 209 chairs</a> and <a href="http://www.designcollectors.com/EN/product/1358/vitra-hang-it-all/" target="_blank">Vitra Hang it all </a>. The beautiful home of a Danish designer

It's the fantastic apartment of Danish designer <a href="http://michalawiesneck.com/" target="_blank">Michala Wiesneck</a> who was raised in a free-spirited, artistic family and travelled the world with her parents from an early age. Michala's childhood is clearly reflected in her relaxed, eclectic home and the clothes she designs. I love the mix of antiques and flee market finds as well as the way she has combined furniture and accessories from different cultures. This is exactly my kind of style.
